The Primary School Smart Leadership Camp (Lessons Learned by the Students )

The Primary School students (P5 & P6) went on their own Smart Camp a week after the Secondary School students did. On February 18, they went to Lembah Hijau Bandulu, Anyer, to experience 2 days and 1 night of Camp. They were assisted by their teachers and they came back with such enthusiasm over the event!

What did you learn from the Smart Camp experience?

I learned about teamwork and how to take care of your friends. I also learned how to survive a 10km Treasure Hunt. We also learned about balance.

I learned about leadership, how to take care of our friends, discipline, and how to face our fear.

I learned how to be a leader and live on my own. I also learned to never give up and keep pushing forward. I learned that working as a team is better than working by yourself.

I learned that we should take care of our friends and we learned discipline. My favorite memory is when Mr Wesley woke us up with a siren the morning after we had a campfire night! The most important lesson I learned is that we should have FUN!

The students enjoyed themselves and came back with valuable life skills. They weren't shy about sharing how good camp was for them. Kudos to all the teachers who organised and guided the students during these camps!
