The results are in!
The theatre was all abuzz 5 minutes before 12 nn, 04 November, as students who took the iPSLE eagerly awaited the results.
It was very exciting watching the students fidget in their seats. You can almost see their hearts pounding in worry and adrenaline: What did I get? The question seemed to hang in the air.
The ceremony started with all seriousness and all the pomp it warranted. Mr Wesley Bullock, Primary School Head, hosted the event. Mr Colin Pereira, our Principal, and Ms Daisy Yiu, Board of Management, were all in attendance. Teachers who assisted the examinees were also there to witness the event.
When the second hand ticked the last second and the students were called up to take their results, you could see how, one by one, they breathed easy again. The reactions were diverse and so telling! The excitement, the quiet acknowledgement of knowing how good they are, even the exagerated releases of breaths, let spectators see which ones knew they did well, which ones were glad to have the marks, which ones were surprised at the results!
It is quite universal, isn't it? The jitters we feel when we receive examination results. Universal and timeless. And the collective breaths of relief is a language all students understand. It says "I did it. I went through the fire. I will face what the fire wrought. I will own it!"
Congratulations to all the examinees for passing their iPSLE! Kudos to the organizers who worked hard from the time the students started preparing for the exam to the moment they took their results on stage. Well done, everyone!

GENERAL INFORMATION
The Singapore international Primary School Examination (iPSLE) is the international version of Singapore's Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE), an examination offered to all pupils at the end of Primary Education. The iPSLE was introduced in 2005 with the aims of providing certification and benchmarking for overseas schools, including those that have adopted the Singapore primary school curriculum. It provides a recognised certification of the knowledge and achievement that pupils have attained.
